hey anybody on the board, is there any way you can send me an mp3 or mp4 of the willie the pimp part 2 from the vinyl edition? (from fillmore) i can't find it on download sites. i need to be able to copy it and put it in a folder that i can put in my itunes. if this is not possible, id still like to hear it again. i only have once.

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't WTP part 2 on the cd, widely available?

No...for some reason, it was dropped for the CD version. (and not by mistake, since it was removed from the track list on the back of the CD case, as well.)

What a weird omission!
I think I assumed that WTP part 1 was the last track on side 1 and WTP part 2 was track 1 on side 2. I've always overlooked FE71 because I find the Flo/Eddie stuff a bit puerile for the most part.
When I get 'round to getting FE71 (apart from Francesco and DHBIM cd, the only stragglers in my collection) will I miss anything by not having part 2?

I think FZ skipped WTPP2 to gain better continuity. WTPP2 doesn't segue very well from WTPP1. WTPP2 kicks ass and I miss it, but I get why he did the CD this way.

I got the LP a few years ago for $11 in a used record store in Chicago.
After a first hearing I hastily concluded that these 2 minutes would not be mandatory for me.
But now I do rather think that this powerful solo really rocks.

Yes I do and I just listened to this track specially as a reminder, but my Zappa Vinyl collection is not in the best of condition. I was a fan of FZ for about 15 years before I was personally able to get access to playing CDs and so my FZ vinyl is well worn. I meant that I miss it in the context of listening to the CD version which I do mostly.

Well if you can still find the His-Story Vol. 2 bootleg - it's got Part 2...

and Junior Mintz Boogie, and the single mix of Tears..., and another solo which may or may not be Subcutaneous Peril (it's cut from PFAB), and the unedited second half of Billy... from JABFLA, and the TV performance of Who Are The Brain Police...and that's it, Flo & Eddie-wise.
