Hey there,

Just wondering is there anybody that transcribes parts of Zappa tunes? I've started... but I've only been able to read music for a short while. So I've decided I'm gonna pick a part of a Zappa tune to help people to play this stuff.. even though I'm not claiming to be an expert... far from it. Just something I'm doing for fun... If it helps someone play a tune.... sweet!

Here are some examples (the tab is just a pattern i picked, might be an better way to play these)

I'd welcome any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism!

Alan.

Jesus man.... That's sweet. A year ago I couldn't read music... but I'm determined to teach myself... and teach myself to do it well. Thanks for that link... at the moment I'm just doing small segments... but i'd like to think in the not so distant future i can progress into doing a full song.

I transcribed the first note of the Sheik Yerbouti Tango and got it wrong, so I stopped. I wish I could do it.
