If she's still English it should be good read.

Received it yesterday (The Book Depository)
It's a great book, I loved it, read it at one stretch ...
... Read it in English !!!

I bought the Dutch version of The Real Frank Zappa Book and was really disappointed in the translation. I hate translations from The Netherlands, they make FZ sound like he was from Holland, instead of doing it more subtly and with more taste, they use typical local sayings which sounds REALLY corny.

Yeah but it's a nightmare to translate to get the right feel of the words over, there's so many subjective words in it. Granted I got negative goosebumps reading "luitjes" for folks. Eowwww.

I think maybe I'll go to town and get it - saw it in a book store in Oslo before Christmas. Looks nifty 8)
