Hi,

While I find it rather interesting that ZPZ had Chick Corea do the Moog playing on King Kong in recent shows, I found it rather sad ... the Jean Luc Ponty was not invited to play something, somewhere with ZPZ ... somehow that just seemed to be extremely sad and ... sorry Dweezil ... pathetic!

(Correction: Just found out that JLP also played with ZPZ several times and what threw me off was JLP's comment during the RTF show, which felt like ... I should have played there too!)

JLP played Fifty Fifty with ZPZ on multiple occasions.

Yeah, in Chicago JLP sat in on 50/50, and played a good long solo to boot. I don't think anyone from RTF sat in with ZPZ during the first few shows, but after that it became a regular thing. So I guess it wasn't pathetic after all.

The comment that JPL made afterwords was almost suggestive that he should have had the opportunity to play with them as well ... which I think would have been more interesting than Chick doing the Moog solo ... which is very simple all around by today's standards.

I'll see about cleaning up those reviews some, since I was not aware of this at all.
