How could we not mention Weird Al Yankovic, the biggest selling comedy artist of all-time? I'm taking my son to see him Saturday. He really puts on a great show.

Also, while I'm at it. If a reggae band playing Led Zeppelin music fronted by an Elvis impersonator sounds good to you (and it did to me) try Dread Zeppelin. Their first album "Un-Led-Ed" is their best.

And he's got a real band, an ass-kicking band. One can see them age on his collected videos DVD, a real fave around here. There's a brand new live dvd. too. They showed an abbreviated version on Comedy Central to launch. Lookin' forward to watching with the kids. Don't know if I can wait for Christmas, maybe it will be a Thansgiving treat.

They Might Be Giants (though I hesitate to call them a comedic musical act)
