One I was going to use, but I thought might too obscure to people living in other countries, was...

It's the Dangerous Kitchener....
You could go to the Auditorium and watch some rock bands
You could cruise 7/8 to Stratford and watch some Shakespeare
You could shop at Zehrs or Zellers (for a limited time only!)
You could watch time change at the clock tower.
You could go the largest Oktoberfest outside of Munich and hoist a few.
You could go to Bingeman's and camp and watch fireworks.
You could freeze your butt off in July sometimes.
You could see Ted Nugent in a van give you the finger (extremely obscure reference)
You could get some fish and chips (yummy!)
You could buy some souveniers.
You could spell like the English.
You could dine at Three Kretans.
You could eat on a terrace.
You could go to the Kitchener Blues Festival.
If your me, you could trip on the threshold
You could clean out the eavestraugh (I think that's how it spelled!)
It's the Dangerous Kitchener....at my house tonight!

Ha. Kitchener now owns this page.

And if they knew the mayor...

You could do something with 'Plastic-wrapped People', or 'Carl Wants To Buy Yez A Drink', or even 'Bwana Carl' (his 'hair is getting good in the back').

And without even trying, there's 'The Blue Light'.
Image

Or 'Numb All Over'.

And 'Potatoes En Regalia'.

Or how about 'Shatner of Destiny'.

And just to push the stereotype out the window, 'Take Your Toque Off When You Dance'.

Thanks, Sabrina! Ever since I was a kid the better-stocked grocery stores in this part of Michigan have always sold cans of "Canadian Pea Soup" or sometimes "Quebec Pea Soup". Maybe it's just a local thing because we're so close to the Ontario border. And speaking of Tim Horton's, they're everywhere around here too. Back in the 1990's they bought up all the Hardee's and changed them to Tim's.

Also, how could I have forgotten these?

Correction the ZFT would announce an unspecified special release to celebrate Canada's special day..........but as recent history shows sadly vitriol may be the only official release.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

If Frank had been born in Canada, the USA would have finally been given the excuse it's been looking for since the 1840s to invade, conquer and deforest. Count your blessings, you hosers!
