odd request.It just so happens, I had tapes of the radio show for years. <br><br>I finally put them in one of my crates along with hundreds of other  cassettes and moved them out to the (dangerous) shed.<br><br>I can dig through it all and see what I can find. I'm not fursure what's on them, I don't remember ever listening to them.<br><br>If I find anything I'll let you know.<br><br><br><br> <br>

every so often in my travels I run into an Amos and Andy reference, could anyone tell me what the show was about? and how was it racist/offensive?<br>thanks

For some reason this little part of a sketch has always stayed with me. I don't know who says it Amos, Andy, or King Fish but it's  cute:  First they splits the atoms into monocles. Then they splits the monocles into morons, protons, and fig newtons.<br><br>

But, like I said I'm only guessing.<br><br>

All I knew for sure about it, was that my Grandfather always talked about them, and what I learned from Thing Fish.<br><br>I did kina wonder, why the black face for the radio? But after listening to the tape I see that it was a live audience show.

I've never seen a episode of the Amos 'N Andy TV series. I did see Check and Double Check, though.
