I remember my grandma had this and several other songs on single vinyl. Nowadays I'm convinced the Dutch people had sent him to Germany in order to take revenge on the occupation in 1940 :).

Hemingway lived here (Oak Park, IL) for awhile.

That guy who played the father on Fraiser lives here. Don't know if he's from here originally though. I ran into him a couple times at the local Dunkin' Donuts.

Yes that is correct, his brother was a good player also but got into the bottle and has screwed up his life

Other celebrities (I used to live in Plookville too) are the guy that coaches the Boise State Football team and mass murderer Juan Corona.

If "lived in" is the qalification, I am proud to say that Edgard Varèse lived here, Gagelstraat 138 in Eindhoven, while composing Poème Électronique. He didn't like The Netherlands one little bit.

Oh, I forgot - King Frederick William the First of Prussia used to live three streets round the block.

I know this doesn’t quite fit but the list of famous people I have met and talked with is extensive:

Ellen Burstein at a Renaissance Fair, had lunch with my wife then girlfriend together.

Don Ho in Hawaii picked my wife then girlfriend and I out of the back of the line and put us front and center and used us for material during the show.

Tony Curtis before a Todd Rundgren concert at the Roxy.

Meet Todd, Stevie Nicks, Hall, & Oats after the Todd Rundgren concert the next night after show at the Rainbow Room.

Mindy Cohn from the “Facts of Life” used to hang out with my Brother-in-law we partied a lot with her and she got my oldest daughter then a baby in the movie “Philadelphia Experiment”, she is the crying baby in the elevator at the hospital.

Met Susan Summers at a store I was delivering meat too, she told me she liked my meat.

I was working on a house in Malibu and they were shooting a movie next store and Kathy Ireland was a bikini girl and we had lunch together, probably could have dated her but I was married so that wasn’t on the menu.

Was rear ended in a car wreck by Tim Fin of Crowded House in Hollywood.

Ran into Woopie Goldberg at Disneyland in the morning and road Space Mountian and the Matterhorn with her.

Cal Governor Davis is Sacramento at lunch.

Mark Klaas in Sacramento at lunch.

Dick Cheney in Sacramento at lunch.

Lars Ulrich at a concert near Santa Rosa.

Clint Eastwood at lunch on a pier in Monterey Bay.

I am sure there are others but my memorie isn’t what it used to be.... :smoke:
