Wow, Milt! Without wanting to sound overtly gay, may I just say that not only is that a fine moustache you have there, but great eyebrows too! Very expressive, old bean! Mine just lie there - all soporific - no matter if I pull funny faces, I just can't get 'em to crinkle and dance. This reminds me of the British actor Roger Moore, who famously believes that the art of "good acting" is to wriggle your eyebrows a lot.

And just a suggestion, peerdiem, but how about a study of eyebrows - which are essentially upside-down eye moustaches? On your site, you could include a series of upside-down faces of those men (and, indeed - why not women too?) who are blessed with particularly fine specimens. Here, for example, is a pic of the glamourous British Labour politician, Dennis Healey - who never publicly sported a mouth moustache, but is renowned for his fine eye embellishments:

Image
"Put the eyebrows on it," said Frank, and Dennis certainly did...

I agree with all of this. Eyebrows are extremely important. I use a lot of energy training my face-making abilities. About 15 years ago I learned to raise my right eyebrow. Now I´m struggling with the left one. It´s really hard to activate muscles that are not used to move alone...

If I ever get rich, I will donate money to build a big research center dedicated to eyebrow research.

(See some of my face-making here. There´s not much eyebrow-wiggling, but that´s because I´m not good enough yet. Later. And: I didn´t realise Roger Moore was so intelligent...)

Because I didn´t want to pay for a .mac account, I turned habart.org into a wordpress blog yesterday. This makes it easier for people to participate actively in the War on Antibartism.

It will also make it easier for me to post new stuff on there.

Check out these two Captain Beefheart interviews. Nice moustache. Nice hat.

I´m in the process of growing a new moustache. Now I´m thinking of buying a hat too. Hats are stylish too...

I am aware that what I have there is a beard, and not a moustache. But don´t worry. When my facial hair reaches its right grotesqueness, I will remove all extranious material surrounding the central core of my desire.

It´s going to be so good. And THE HAT was purchased today. This is my gift to the world!

Nice cookie duster, Perdiem.

I think you should purchase some moustache wax and get the handlebar look going. I did that for a few months but had to do some drastic facial hair editing due to the fact that I have to be in a wedding this week, and have to look -ahem- somewhat presentable.

Here's a bonus moustache from one of my favorite tv shows of the 21st century.

Lol, I attended the ZPZ concert in may with a friend of mine and we met these girls, one of which who said she wanted to get herself a tattoo of Zappa. My friend whispered to me she should shave her cunt in the form of Zappa's moustache logo.

Does that mean you're gonna remove your whole face, and just leave the moustache? Wow! that's some commitment you got there...

Both Earl and I think you're something special too, Aspy! But why oh why do you have to live sooo far away? :P

Milton Bradley: Thank you. I am going to buy some wax. Haven´t tried it before, but it may open up a new world for me.

I understand why you edited your facial hair for the wedding, but I object to the notion that moustaches are not presentable. I have suffered from stigmatization by idiots, but I have done a lot of thinking recently and I remembered that I actually had a moustache the last time I got a job. When I removed it, I got severely depressed and I am now temporarily (I hope) disabled. I am sure that my new moustache will help bringing me back to life.

Haven´t seen My Name Is Earl yet, but it is running on Norwegian TV. Will check it out.

Flatulus: Good idea. My face does tend to get in the way.

Now I would like to turn you attention to some good moustached role models. I know that some of you may object to one or two of my choices, based on crimes they committed and so forth, but in my mind it is the moustache that counts, not the man´s actions. So here goes (click the names for a youtube clip) :

Friedrich Nietzsche
Albert Einstein
Martin Heidegger
Salvador Dalí
Clark Gable
Adolf Hitler
Joseph Stalin
Simon Wiesenthal
Kurt Vonnegut

I´d like tips on other good role models that I can see live on video. By the way, I think that this FZ clip is excellent for studying Zappa´s moustache. Very nice.

By the way: I´ve never read Vonnegut, but I became a fan after seeing that clip. Great guy. I have never admired a suicide chump this much before. Any books you´d like to recommend?

Vonnegut recommendation: LISTEN:

Cat's Cradle.

It's a fictional history of human stupidity. Unlike the factual history, it's very short.

It's about life and death, and reality and illusion, and love and hate, and war and peace, and science and religion, and kindness and cruelty, and wisdom and stupidity.

It's even got sex.

You should probably go get it right now.

On the contrary, Peerdiem
I wasn't trying to say that moustaches were not presentable. I just didn't want mine to be a filter for food and drink, especially in public. It can be annoying enough having food between my teeth let alone in my 'stache.

The good news is that now that I'm through with the wedding, I can grow it wild once again. Let's make monthly posts of our hairy progress.

Btw, did you have eyelid reduction surgery recently? Just joking  Image
