My siblings were watching TV a minute ago, and an ad for Hannah Montana came up on the Disney Channel. It was talking about how Hannah was going to change her "style", and it showed her dressed as a stereotypical "Heavy Metal" person, and underneath it, I SWEAR I heard the repeated heavy riff of Fighty Bitey being played. Maybe my ears are deceiving me, but it sounded a LOT like it. Has this kind of stuff happened before? I know instances of Late-Night show bands playing I'm the Slime and Willie the Pimp and stuff, but anything on commercials?

I heard Secret Hedges once played on the background of "Stunt Junkies" on Discovery Channel... and "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" was used in a Volkswagen Golf commercial... and Lumpy Gravy in another commercial. So it happens, but rarely.
