that has probably been covered, dug up, and covered again here.
I apologize in advance.

I didn't go overboard on my youtubing thus far, but...
is there live footage of FZ playing Zomby Woof?

I've seen, Tom, Dick, Harry, Larry, Darryl, and Darryl covering it, but no frankie ... yet.

Do your best worst, please and thank you.

This is as close as you'll get. Depending on your opinion of your Steve Vai, you may or may not like this version?

Exhibit A: Why Frank didn't let Steve loose.

Fantastic!

Next time Joe should emulate the sucked in cheeks with a side of pouty rictus.

Out of all possible live versions ever performed, this is probably my favourite. Vintage '73 MOI at their best, FZ needs no guitar other than his own fabulous SG and he holds his own on the vocals too. And the solo is a total no-nonsense classic FZ early seventies live solo, far removed from what Steve Vai would be doing. This shit is authentic, whereas the ZPZ clip is over the top.

Pretty good version. Great solo. Can hear the actual lyrics with FZ singing.
I would say the song feels less powerful than the studio version. Lancelotti had the most amazing voice.
