Not sure if radio player counts as TV & film, but what the hey....
A friend of mine posted this on the RG forum earlier - I'll check it out when I get a sec....

"Heard an interesting programme on BBC Radio 4Extra today. It was by Germaine Greer on the life and music of Frank Zappa. Using clips from his family, Frank himself, and other musicians it was quite an interesting look at the man and his music. You can hear it on the BBC Radio Player."

I saw him open for Rush on the Signals tour. The crowd boo'ed him off the stage. Hard to believe, huh?

It 1982, fairly sure. I was in the balcony and I think the people down below were just Rabid Rush Fans who didn't care who was on because it wasn't Rush.
