I remember I was watching some late night ShowCase show because i was bored and they were tlaking about some art exhibit made up of girls just fucking one anotehr and ocassionally grabbing members of the audience (who says porn isnt art? ::)) anyhell, the background music while they were tlaking about it was SEX. I mean, naked women and FZ, how can you go wrong?

Last night on french national TV (antenne 2). An intellectual kind of talk show. During the book review of the week, background music was Regyptian Strut. The review lasted the whole song and they seemed to time it that way. Always a thrill to hear FZ's music in that kind of context. Me: "Listen honey, that's Frank Zappa playing in the background!". My wife: "so what!"

take my wife, please!

my teenage daughter was watching a rerun from the series CLUELESS. The entire song "Valley Girl" played while the plastic chicks went shopping!!!!
My 13 year old yelled for me to come to the set. I'm proud she knew it was Frank Zappa. :D

On an episode of Nip/Tuck they're sitting in a bar and in the background Chunga's revenge is playing! It's some kind of ambient club version with an accordion playing the melody...

I'm sitting here, watching SCTV, on WNED-TV. They just left the pledge break, to return to the program, and played "Peaches en Regalia" (Zappa, not a cover version) over the sponsorship logos, before getting back into SCTV.

This one has to be the cover by Gotan Project.
