i have to say, i have to be in studio in @, oh... 8 hours, and i'm nervous as all hell. excited and nervous. i've  waited all year for this day, and now i can't sleep. i'm gonna be a zombie on the air (if i even get on, i might just be too zonked) my friend terry is coming in with me, we went together last year, so it will be kool no mater what. i made a  commitment to myself to do this, and i'm affraid of blowing it by being overly enthused. wish me luck....

I got XM satellite radio this month so I could hear Air America, and was very happy to find that their rock stations play a LOT of Zappa.

Inca Roads, Disco Boy, some Joe's Garage, The Torture Never Stops, Camarillo Brillo, some others too that aren't coming to mind. Usually on their "Music Lab" feed, which is where they put all the progressive stuff.<br><br>XM is addictive.

WPKN in Bridgeport, Connecticut, 89.5 FM has a guy who has a mixed bag show on Sundays - late morning, early afternoon who plays a lot of Zappa mixed in with fusion & jazz stuff.  I almost drove off the road the other day when I heard Sinister Footwear.  That's not something I was ready for while doing 80 mph, but welcomed it, nonetheless.
