What about Uncle Meat? Lol. Is it good? Is Don turning into a monster? Is Zappa drilling through an uncle? I read the liner notes on the album, but I want to hear what U say. Is the movie scary?

Dont buy The Amazing Mr Bickford then Isis....or 200 Motels....or Baby Snakes....or Video From Hell - None of these movies have characters / plots / big explosions........
First time I saw it I was on ACID...blew my mind. The "packing" scene killed me. ;D

Maybe I need to watch it again.

As for 200 Motels, I found the movie fascinating - and Baby Snakes? That's a concert movie, and no matter how disjointed it is in part, it sticks to its purpose.

Try watching it again, cos if you enjoy 200 Motels and the other movies, I dont see why you dont enjoy UM? ......." You want me to beat you with a toilet brush? "

It's nowhere near as good as 200 Motels, but it's essential for hardcore Zappa fans, especially those who favour the early Mothers.

By the way, I wish there was a way I could purchase this movie without being ridiculously over-charged.

I have Uncle Meat and The Amazing Mr Bickford on VHS. Does anyone have any tips for converting these to DVD under Mac OS X?
