Can anyone please help me obtain an empty or full bottle of FREAK OUT for my collection. I do have Kill Ugly Radio and Lumpy Gravy and will trade if need be. Thanks so much for any help!

Is that why you said you didn't like it? I found it tasty and not too hard to take despite my swill guzzling ways, though I've always been partial to hoppy beers. I on occasion say the groan inducing pun..."If you're hoppy, I'm happy" sorry.

I received one as a gift and drank a couple at a cool bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn called Spuyten Duyvil. Great beer and super cool juke box. Always some Frank on there...hope Gail doesn't come calling. Google the name of the place to check it out, they have a page showing past jukebox selections. I would safely bet the have Kill Ugly Radio (umm copywritten..possibly) beer. Owner is a Frank fan.. Some people have described the place as snooty but I would take that over snotty, which is what the local competition is about. Did I mention the tree garden courtyard out back?? Worth a visit all you touristy types.

Are any of these beers particularly malty? If so, recommend some! I get paid a week's wage from my last job (for working past their wage cut off date) so I may be enticed to order a case.

The Kill Ugly Radio is a very tasty beer as is the Lumpy Gravy. I haven't had the opportunity to taste the Freak Out but I heard positive reviews about it. Lagunitas brews some tasty stuff and to get beer with a tribute label to the works of Frank Zappa is AMAZING! This beer is brewed in small quantities, has limited distribution and will never be brewed again. Freak Out and Kill Ugly Radio are no longer available in the state of NJ. If you are a collector or enjoy great beer, don't hesitate to grab some if you can find it.

Sent you a PM, called the brewery and they said they are out of Freak Out,
but the We're Only in it For the Money bottle would be coming out
sometime around April.

unfortunately I was beat by wheatgurm on 2 bottles of Freak Out! We agreed to trade Lumpy Gravy for Freak Out and he never sent my bottles! I have emailed him several times kindly asking him to fulfill his promise and he ignores my inquiries. I never thought I would get beat by a fellow Zappa fan and for the first time I would think twice about trading from this forum. wheatgurm your a creep.
