Right on , that'll get me started.
As long as I'm here though , anybody know of any websites dedicated to Zappa transcriptions?
Also I've heard that there is a free download available somewhere on the net for the drum chart for the Black Page , for the life of me though I can't find it....?

Actually, I think Zappa scores, at least the band stuff should be available on the net. More importantly, why don't we have a musicians forum here?

Oh yeah I forgot, the ZFT doesn't want anyone other than ZPZ playing Frank's music!

Someone with a fine moustache just turned over in his grave.

Whoops, I used the 'moustache' word without permission! Now I'm done for!

I would love a musician's subforum on here. I know there are a bunch of us here that enjoy mangling the strings/skins/keys/etc.

Do you think I'm safe if I play Zappa songs without my guitar plugged in?

"Alright, now, that's the melody."

The only place I've ever seen the drum score is on the Bozzio/Wackerman Duets DVD, where they both play the original drum solo simultaneously and the score follows along at the bottom of the screen. If you want to learn it I strongly recommend you buy that DVD. There is also a Duets 2 now which is also a great DVD.
