Hats off, nonetheless. I can't seem to get my hands on BTB2 in any format. One of these days I'll find it...

I don't know how I did it, but I never did shell out for the BTB sets! I did acquire a couple of the individual CDs. I used to buy anything FZ related the day it came out. I think the release of the 12 YCDTOSA CDs helped to divert my attention.

I would assume the BTB sets are fairly collectable now. (?!)

I MIGHT give you a dollar each for them, they're not really all that collectible. No, really, I mean it. Seriously.

For real? Seriously? No - really?

I saw a BTB2 on eBay and the bidding was at $167. Don't know if I'd pay that much, but it would be nice to have the set.

I've heard most of BTB1 and like it. As someone who cut his teeth on Dead and Phish boots, I have a soft spot for that 3rd Gen Analog snarl. Saarbrucken, in particular, delivers. Sounds delightfully underproduced. The Ark is a halfway decent recording as well. I won't go as far as Unmitigated Audacity, though. :P

No, Sir. For one dollar I would pick a single hair of my Frank Zappa Plays The Music Of Frank Zappa edition for you. Postage to be paid by addressee.

What ??? No Zappa Plays Zappa DVD ?

Shame on you, amateur

Just kidding, what an awesome collection this is !
How long did it take you too collect all that ?
Your collection must be worth quite a lot of Euro's i guess...

I feel like a loser now, since I ''only'' own 89 FZ CD's, 24 FZ LP's, 1 FZ DVD Audio, 5 FZ DVD's and 3 FZ Books...

Then again, I am only 25 years of age and have only really started collecting FZ Vinyl since january of this year.
After pretty much completing the CD collection, i figured that would be the next logical step....

You're right no Zappa plays Zappa dvd, the only one i have is a copy of the 2006 Beacon Theater show, I'm only collecting FZ not ZpZ.

I've restarted to collect Zappa in 1998 after losing the my first collecting of about 100 vinyl albums incl bootlegs and 30 singles

the rest of the dvd's

Will you marry me ?

That way, after divorce I'll get HALF of your collection !

But how did you lose roughly 100 (!!!) Vinyl Albums ?
So, most of the vinyl albums we see on your pictures is purchased in the last 10 years ???
Where did you get most of them ? E-Bay ?

And what about those DVD's ?
How did you get that collection together ?

UN-BE-LIE-VA-BLE

No!!! i will not marry you, thats the reason i lost my first collection, money problems after the divorce!!

Yes allot of them are from Ebay, but also from second hand shops and records fair, and you must have some connection in that world but that comes with the years, i bought my first Zappa record in 1971 "Chunga's Revenge" now i have that record 26 times on vinyl 3 cd.s and 1 cassette

For the dvd's and much more you must go to this site.

Its great looking at other peoples collection I was hoping to post a picture of mine but my mother still has my camera full of her holiday pictures, I started buying Zappa LPs around Xmas 2006 but only every now and then. Its only in the past couple of months I've started buying Zappa LPs regularly though being unemployed at the moment doesn't help , I have 29 so far with one due this week Absolutely Free. So roughly halfway through the main albums on LP.

It's not my collection unfortunateley, it's Zurkon_Wax's...
I was only trying to talk him into marrying me, so that after divorce, I could take half of his collection and thus complete my own collection

If Zurkon_Wax is anything like I am, searching for (then finding) is more enjoyable, than actually having.
