I was told from a reliable source that when the movie DeRailroaded was being made (in 2004), that Gail said that she would allow the album An Evening With WMF to finally be made available again. In addition, They found virtually another albums worth of material in the vault that could also be released or used as filler on the disc. When I watched the film, I noticed that 1/2 of the music used was taken from the master tapes, and the rest was taken from the LP release. When will this material ever come out on CD? If everything is cool with finally allowing a re-release, it would be nice to finally see this obscure album to come out in a digital form. :? If Frank thought there was potential in releasing this on LP, than I feel that it deserves to be re-released on CD. What do You Think?
:?:

BTW: I attempted to put a poll on this thread 4 times, and this website just won't accept the poll. What gives?

I saw this film for the first time last summer at the Kampf Theatre, located in the square where the Bad Doberan, FZ bust resides. It was aired as part of the opening ceremonies for Zappanale 18. I laughed and cried, what a story!

I'm not sure I would love it as much without the video content though?

oooohhh, even better DD!
The Evening With . . . record is an old favorite of mine. A movie would be super. Sure hope he's reasonably cared for these days and not some blithering bumbler at a bustop or stuck in a hole with Nurse Cratchett . . .

I have ripped my pristine vinyl copy of 'An Evening With Wild Man Fischer' to CD. I'd be happy to trade with anyone who would like a copy.

If you have a list of FZ-related stuff you can e-mail it to me privately.

If not, I'll take trades for most anything. The Fischer set is two CD-s, if you have a couple of discs you think I might be interested in just let me know.

I'm not that picky, but I don't want any $$ involved.

20, you wouldn't be the person who posted a version on demonoid recently, would you? That copy is very high quality, but I have some questions for the individual who ripped it.
