I wish someone would invent a new form of music. Rock is dead, and jazz smells funny.

What's new that you can dance to?

I tried playing guitar while standing on my head, but everything just transposed to the bass clef.

That's funny stuff, guys!

I'm sick of these bands that have a drum set, a couple of guitars and maybe a keyboard. Why do they want to be like their grandparents?

When you think about it...jazz, rock, country/western, rap, blues, and all their sub-genres came about during last century. Do you think this century will see as many new forms?

Perhaps in the future (I'm being serious for a change now) what we have traditionally experienced as music will be received in a more 3D visual sort of medium. Convert the emotional aspect of music into visual wave forms in virtual space, and experience the same benefits of music, but incorporating more of the senses. Hell, I bet some R&B producer is working on a way to put out a single that will literally give you an orgasm. I'd buy that for $0.99 on iTunes!

Sunn 0)))'s alleged modus operandi is:

"to create trance-like soundscapes with the ultimate low-end/bottom frequencies intended to massage the listener's intestines into an act of defecation."

Or, to put it more colourfully, "in search of the brown note." Does that count?

Frank Zappa invented his own type of music...isn't that enough for ya ?

I mean, what else do you need ?
It doesn't get any better than that !!!

I admit that what one of the things that attracts me to Frank's music is that it often sounds like no other music I've heard.

I don't know about the "brown note", but there sure is a lot of stuff out there that is puke-inducing!

Aerosmith comes close to something like that... they massage my stomach into an act of involuntary personal protein spill.

Brainiac played it live on TV and there were actually viewers who were suffering from the effects. It may go for just people with a certain bowel resonnance frequency, and Adam Savage isn't one of them.

You'll love it. It's a way of life. And you'll go like you've never gone before.
