i'd like to hear a zappa vault release with:

1. twenty small cigars from the Flo&Eddie band
2. montana by Petit Wazoo
3. another Zoot Allures a la FZ:OZ/Joe's Menage ('75/'76 band)
4. more Ansley Dunbar recordings with Zappa
5. Outside Now from the '80 touring band
6. the full recording that was used for 'Venusian Time Bandits'
7. a complete recording of Zappa at UCLA 1975. Bozzio rules on this one.

but, untill then, ZFT, keep 'em coming. You've released some great stuff.

A Blu-Ray disc player! (Or is this just Zappa.....umm....)

Roxy! yeah!

(Wait......I've got it)

Roxy in the Blu-Ray format and a Blu-Ray player to play it!

I like some of your choices.

Personally, (aside from the shiny apocrypha nuggets) I've always had a jonesin' for the entire Trouble Every Day that includes Venusian Time Bandits... in something other than lousy AUDIO-DVD... I swear I can't rip that to mp3 for the life of me (using free software that is). So I can't listen to it in the car, on the mp3 player, on cd, on the computer or anywhere except my damn dvd player.

I'll probably get booed for this, but here goes:

The original MONO mix of Cruisin' With Ruben and the Jets.

I want the premixed record crackle, the varient solos, the original harmonies, the ultra compressed drums and bass, all things GREAT AND WONDERFULL that were designed to make it sound like a beat up old album from the 50's. Plus single versions, studio outtakes, and if there is a magically listenable version.. ORIGINAL stereo would be nice too, all in a snazzy little multi disc limited edition.

And an EXCITING THILLS and CHILLS limited, limited edition, for those who are truly strange.
That comes with your very own tube of greasy hair goop, and a life sized set of pachuco hop stencils (made of metal,) and a blow torch for easy dance floor modification at your local disco.
And this one time only offer if you order now, RIGHT NOW, did you get your order in, NO? Well then you're too late buddy! We'll even throw in a '57 CHEVY convertable with wire rims and white walls. All for the low low price of $19.99

I'm just sayin' it would be cool.

Sensible, if the tapes weren't wrecked because FZ used razor blade edits

That would be a lovely package.

I want a complete unedited DVD of the Royal Festival Hall performance from '68. Even Zappa said himself that it was a fair performance, please Gail, please............

The parts from The True Story of the Making of 200 Motels looked like so much fun. Roy Estrada with the pope hat, and the smarties, also Jimmy Carl trying to score some pussy.
The CD is one of my favorites, Frank's guitar sounds so angry when he kicks in the wah and distortion in the second half of Orange County Lumber Truck.
I really liked the short version on Weasels, but when Ahead of Their Time was released it just blew me away. That would be a good DVD release.

You get more clips of this performance on the Uncle Meat video too

Now that is a good idea.
I actually intend on getting the early Verve singles when I can afford them / justify spending the money on them. I've been saying this for about 15 years though!
