Is there any evidence when Bognor Regis was recorded, and with whom FZ is playing?

I know its supposed to sound like the Hots Rats sessions, but what proof is there?

The existance of the recording 'Bognor Regis' had been known a long time before Jeff Dexter and Andrew Sclanders talked about, and sold the disc; I would like to know how it happened to be knowledge in the public domain before this period. I say this as I sent the MP3 to someone, and he is certain that he is on the recording.

Wow, it is great to read stuff by people who are so connected
to FZ.

Getting back to the original thread about 'great guitar sound',
despite the effects and modifications FZ embraced, an individuals
sound is truly also 'in their own hands'.

Has the SG that was stolen from FZ ever surfaced?

What SG are you talking about?

I have a feeling FZ lost an SG in the 1971 Montreux fire, it may be the same one he used at the 1970 Bath concert with him wearing a Cricket pullover.

I might be wrong here, but I thought that the modified SG that featured
on Roxy was stolen?

I don't recall seeing any pictures of him using it post 1974/5.

I could be wrong though.

Not stole

Known as the “Roxy SG,” this is the same guitar used and pictured on the 1974 Roxy & Elsewhere album. Though the two non-stock switches on the guitar’s lower horn were present in the Roxy era, the guitar has been augmented since those days with a mirrored top and various preamps, phasing switches, and active-filter circuits.
