I was going to say Directly From My Heart To You too but Slime got there first. I would also suggest My Guitar Wants to Kill your Mama from WRMF. The Call Any Vegetable sequence from AF? Also Call Any Vegetable from JABFL.

This is what I would do: select songs to play in the background that no one will think is Zappa. Here is my list:

Twenty Small Cigars
Blessed Relief
Sleep Dirt
Dwarf Nebula
Semi Fraudulent/Direct From Hollywood
Would You Like A Snack
Uncle Meat Main Theme
Dog Breath Variations
Pound For A Brown
Aybe Sea
Sofa #1

Lets just say it was a quiet party!

Not here it gets pretty fun, we have a bocci ball tourney that I get a trophy for and you would think these people were playing for an Olympic gold medal...LOL...and the dancing gets going after the tourney...swimming pool, Barbecue...big turn out every year, this is our tenth LUAU...it is great fun.

Ah come on now I think you deserve a Bocci Ball MIX Tape totally seperate
from the party MIX.

I know quite a few Zappa fans that groove to Bocci Ball/Italian Lawn Bowling
for those that live in social areas that have little to no Italian culture.

We the fans are not in control. We have a choice to use our eyes and ears or read it and weep.

I have to deal with Mrs.Plook and the daughter Plook, we're lucky we are getting 10 or 15 songs slipped in..it's like the warden and the warden in training over here, they know all about the Zappa thing and their keeping it in check...LOL

We almost canceled the 10 annual LUAU due to my being laid-off, a lot of people were extremely disappointed and suggested going low budget. We have decided to go ahead and just serve hamburgers and have everyone bring side dishes and have the party. So next week I will submit the list from suggestions here for voting...thanks!
