I asked Gail once in chat once if Dweezil needed to be there for product to be released and she said no. I'm curious about that answer now, since the only one who moves the projects along is Dweezil. Is there anybody else that works on these? They seem to lie in limbo until ZPZ isn't on tour.

I concur ... I wish I had the download of the 1/4/09 Seattle show. Of course, I've been wishing for that for quite some time now - so long that I'm wondering if I'll ever see it.

It's been so long in fact that you've even forgotten that it was actually YCFOSA. Anyway, I'm just joking around.

Well Zootallures with Halloween being about two weeks away I am in a very good mood.
I was listening to a bit of Chicago #1 today and right off the bat ZPZs very first performance
in the YCFOSA series being Camarillo Brillo I was saying to myself how this was such a tasty morsel
of many good things to come.

I continue to look at that overall YCFOSA tour and it's various slated projects in a variety of media formats
and ponder the selections that were performed on any given night and how the performances and recordings may sound quite different.
But some people like to look at set lists and think the set list within itself has some defining character to a show.
To some extent the set lists were created based of fan votes and ZPZ performs certain songs in segue so it did affect
the overall tone of the arrangements over a given nights performance.

In time I think we all are going to be very excited at the Downloads, CDs & DVDs
where this will be a fine sampling of many of the finest performances and recordings of FZs music in our very large collections.
There are some obvious common songs in both Chicago #1 & Halloween so it is going to be interesting to not only hear songs
that were not performed at Chicago #1 but hear the common selections comparatively and the changes in the overall shows arrangement,
solos and DZ conducting the band.

While DZ gets the YCFOSA Download, CD & DVD projects ready
why not optimistically ponder this for a little while longer.

Trend, we have had our differences of opinion about these downloads. Thank you for the set list as my memory of the show has gotten foggy this past year. I still would like to hear from the ZFT once in a while.

I don't know if you remember Inca Roads.
Dweezil's solo on Halloween started melodically over a slow progression,
balls to the floor tone with a melodic development on the low E string
with some subtle Wah Wah. This was done in the tonal model of
FZs Inca Roads solos from the SUAPYG series. Sometiems I wonder just how far off we are
until we get a DZ SUAPYG collection. DZs air sculptures certainly have shown the variety of
elements as FZ had used in that series of albums.

Yes very much like an FZ show the overall arrangement of a show or the approach to the solo
of any given tune changed from night to night so we are getting different Inca Roads in Chicago #1 and Halloween.

I kind of skim through his posts now, way to wordy for me. He did print the set list of the show I have been waiting a short eternity for, for that I am thankful.

Well, there are some concerts being postponed, so maybe work is proceeding on these projects.

Halloween is three days away. No downloads, no NYC show and no word from the ZFT. It is almost like they have stopped updating the web site completely.

By the way if you see the Japanese import CDs on RYKO, BUY them!! They sound great! They are little LP replicas, complete with lyric sheets and replica inner sleeves.

The real kick in the nuts- the ZFT doesn't issue any statements, updates or apologies.

What a horrible way to run a business. Seriously, the worst. Hire an outside company to run the business.

I am never going to purchase a product directly from them again. I'll buy used off of ebay if there is any releases I absolutely need. That way they will only get one royalty.

And TRENDY- This is a preemptive "Shut the fuck up" so SHUT THE FUCK UP.
