I have received an email from the friends of the later Alain Dister. His photographs are beautiful, and his images of FZ and the Mothers are historic

(crude English translation below)

LANCEMENT DE L¹ASSOCIATION ALAIN DISTER


Chers amis,

Un petit mail bien en avance pour que vous puissiez inscrire sur vos agendas
le samedi 12 décembre 2009, jour de lancement de l¹association Alain Dister.

De 11h00 à 22h00, nous vous accueillerons à la galerie Favardin & de
Verneuil, pour découvrir un accrochage d¹une soixantaine de tirages d¹Alain,
des projections et portfolios qui vous permettront de vous replonger dans
son univers photographique.

Vous pourrez également adhérer à l¹association et commander des tirages
numérotés des photographies d¹Alain, réalisés d¹après les négatifs
originaux, par son tireur.

À 19h00, sera officiellement lancée l¹Association, en présence de son
Comité d¹honneur. Autour d¹un verre, nous vous présenterons nos activités et
projets en cours.

Enfin, nous serons à votre écoute pour toute idée de collaboration, de
soutien dans notre ambition de sauvegarder et surtout de « faire passer »
l¹oeuvre d¹Alain.

Vous recevrez mi-novembre un mail comportant l¹invitation à cette journée,
ainsi que les différents éléments pour faire circuler l¹info.

From 11:00 to 22:00, we welcome you to the gallery Favardin & de Verneuil, to discover a clash of sixty ¹ d ¹ Alain prints, projections and portfolios that will allow you to plunge into his world of photography. You can also join the association ¹ and order prints numbered photographs Alain d ¹, ¹ d made the original negatives, from the maker. At 19h00, will be officially launched ¹ s Association, in the presence of d ¹ Honor Committee. Around d ¹ a drink, we present our activities and projects. Cleon, I cannot see 11 photo's along a row or see a 10th photo. Can you tell us what you mean?

There is a photo of FZ with his ES 5, that beautiful Gibson hollow body, in which he is shrouded in darkness, beautifully captured by Alain Dister.

frank looks much older than 25 here. strangely enough, when he was in his 30's, he looked younger. he looks like he knows he's headed for better things.

Is any of them Jim Guercio Who had temporarily replaced Ray collins?

It's the same humans in the pic that you posted, just another shot from the same reel of film I reckon. I believe the man at the centre is Henry Vestine.
