Poops gave me a little of the back story where a friend of his had bought some gear from an auction that dweezil had done some years ago, apparently to thin out the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen's non-working or extra gear.

The Dead Battery

Unfortunately the lithium coin battery that was soldered to the original board had expired sometime long ago, and taken any Zappa Preset History with it. I can only imagine what hidden gems would have lurked in there...

Looks true there was a auction called Joe's Garage sale 2004 i post a link before of all the stuff on sale that day but the link is bust.

Great find thanks Cleon. Makes me wonder if Frank used this unit to process the drums on Packard Goose. I always pictured him in the studio tweaking nobs to slow down and speed up the delay time on the snare drum, but this sounds like it could be an automated process with a unit like this.

I dont think this unit would be out when Joes garage was made something similar i can't even find when the unit was made,George Lynch i think used one on his tour after Wicked Sensation album to get the studio sound on stage that be around 1990 though :?

yea yer probably right.
Besides I like the visual of FZ tweaking the sounds in realtime onto tape.
