When you do this "MakingOf" please don't mix audio from the movie with audio from the original LP.
The movie is okay on it's own but it doesn't belong with the original release.

I didn't know the reissue came with a making of documentary?

It doesn't, but when Frank put out the cd in the 80's he added some audio crap from the movie. Not too many fans like it (the extra added crap) much.

When the film finally was released it became one of the crappiest things I could remember ever seeing.
Not "arty" just C-R-A-P-P-Y.

Agreed. Why he saw the need to complete this after so many years (not to mention pollute the re-releases of the album) I'll never know.

I'm hoping it will be a project/object release like MOFO/Lumpy Money/Greasy Love Songs. I've even imagined a title for it "The No Commercial Potential Project/Object"

I'm getting a nerd boner just thinking about the possibilities.....

They could maybe do something cool like release it with "An Evening With Wild Man Fischer" since that album was recorded during some of the Uncle Meat sessions. It would be a massively awesome 4 CD boxed set like MOFO with outtakes, alt. takes/demos, session banter, possibly interviews and such things.

Uncle Meat is one of my favorite Zappa albums and I could die happy if something like this was released.
