Or more like 1974? This looks like one of those early promo pics for the Helsinki band, but with Jeff (before he got sacked over drug abuse issue).

FZ and Lorraine Belcher Chamberlain arrested for the fake porn tape in Studio Z. So that's what FZ looked like in '65 before he formed the Mothers and grew his trademark stache+soul-patch. And Lorraine looks like a saucy vixen on that pic too. No wonder FZ dug her.

Apparently FZ had a strong attachment to Ms. Belcher throughout his life as it is reported in the new Zappa The Hard Way book that he spent a night with her on the '88 tour. In the text of the book it sounds like it was sexual but in an afterward by Pauline Butcher it describes their meeting as platonic and suggests that Frank's libido may have been waning at that time due to his illness.

Not only relatively clean shaven, but also with relatively short hair. I think this is what FZ referred to in TRFZB when he mentioned that his hair were short, but everyone in the region thought he had long hair. If he would step out of 1965 into 2011 nobody would flinch, but at that time, he apparently looked pretty avant-garde in a small town setting. No wonder Detective Willis set him up.

I was thinking the same thing. There must be one somewhere in Cucamunga,Ca.police department or court records. It says he was booked.....In this shot he looks a little like a young George Harrison/Dustin Hoffman combo. No mistaking thats Frank though. 8)

from Lorraine Belcher Chamberlain:
Quote:

When Frank and I were busted for our alleged crimes, the band arrived for rehearsal in the middle of it. They were immediately lined up and told to role up their sleeves. Motorhead looked over at me with a wild grin on his face, arms out, and said with glee "Look Pete! They're checking for tracks!" To this young, clean-living guy, it was the most exotic thing that had ever happened. And the most ridiculous. He was happy to be Frank's "chaperone" in the following year, as Frank was not allowed to be in the company of any woman under the age of 21, after the trial. I was only 19, so we spent a lot of time with Motor and his mom.
I grew to love him. I spoke with Jim's wife, Lynn, only an hour or so before he passed. His son Lance had driven all night on Thursday from Seattle to be with his father. I am glad I visited him last week, and will miss him terribly. RIP dear Motorhead....

So apparently Lorraine was five years younger than Frank (who was 24 when he got busted).

Small pocket knife, two blades and a can opener with scewdriver end.He don't smoke. No tobacco stains on his fingers. No fingers! Smokes? No way,how would you get them out or in,without breaking them? Beside a little pocket knife comes in handy when your dealing with equipment that needs a little tweeking here and there, hence the pocket knife. Its a tool he can use, yes?
EDIT; Do they feel too tight?[/quote]

Rectangular object approximately 2" x 3" slightly larger on one horizontal side (partial pack) slightly cruched (soft pack) will fit in horizontal pocket just above... :smoke:
