The Crimson Projekct in Syracuse 7/20, without Dream Theater :D :D :D

Not sure since they're headlining what the format is: all King Crimson songs or Belew solo set/Stickmen/Crimson set, like they did on the fall "Two Of A Perfect Trio" tour. I'm sort of hoping for all Crimson. If that's the case I sure hope they do alot more than just Elephant Talk, Sleepless, Indiscipline, Thrak, Neurotica, 3oaPP, Dinosaur, Frame By Frame, LTIAII, Red, etc..

They really need to pull out the rare ones like The Howler, Sartori In Tangier, Cage, and anything from Construction Of Light and Power To Believe. Last year's tour had nothing from those two albums. Of course Schizoid Man would be sweet too.

They are trying to set a record for playing in all 50 states (plus D.C.) in the shortest amount of time.

I think I've hit some kind of advanced age wall because I have no interest in going out to see/hear anything anymore unless it is orchestral/classical related.

Went to see Fischer's Flicker on Saturday. Great rockin' show! Got to meet PenguinInBondage who has a fine selection of Tommy Mars sounds and eyewear! Here are some pix from the camera on my phone.

Arkay,
Thanks again for coming on out! Syncing all of the videos to the live show had me "concerned" up until show time but, by some stroke of luck (or many ridiculous hours of hard work) - it all worked out! Very glad you were able to witness it!

Plook: who knows? Maybe some future show will work out better with your schedule...

Nice! My brother tried to get me to sign on for The Who but I had to draw the line somewhere. Saw them with Entwistle so I decided to pass.
System of a Down and Peter Gabriel coming up soon though! (not together - haha)

A few decent shows coming up in my area that I would like to go to (ZZ Top, Steve Vai, etc) but what I really have on my radar is Los Straitjackets in September. I just love these guys. Surf music done right with a great gimmick and stage show.

Also Ike Willis is actually going to be playing in my town in September with a local tribute band so I have to check that out. Plus Buckethead in my town too.

Let me know when Ike's gonna play up there.

On topic I saw The GrandMothers of Invention.NMB is still the best frontman ever and for almost being *80yrs.old Don Preston can play those keyboards like no one else!

*80 in Sept.

I'm surprised NMB is almost 80. I assumed he was much younger than Frank and that he would be in his early '60's now. I tried finding a birthdate for NMB on the web but couldn't find any.

Thanks PIB.That's right KU.For being in his 60's (I think) NMB's one of the most energized guys onstage today.NMB is the best frontman and he plays sax and flute all the while moving, constantly moving to the music.Non-stop.When I see him he reminds me of the saying, full tilt boogie. He is definetly a full tilt rock/classical/boogie/all around astounding entertainer.A must see show! They played the whole Roxy and they're music too, mixing it in to make a whole show.Instead of a screen with FZ playing guitar, they played the audio part of FZ talkin' 'bout Cheepnis and NMB came in on que singin'; I ate a hot dog.....It was very cool. You could feel FZ in the room it was that good. No shit! Those GrandMothers love that music and it showed. 8)

You're quick Arkay, I haven't even gotten it posted yet! Yup, still figuring out the details but, at the very least, it'll still be as big of a production as the last!
