The touring line-up has been announced!

Certainly, the most exciting news for long-time YES fans was the recent announcement that three of the group’s best known past members, singer Jon Anderson, guitarist Trevor Rabin, and keyboardist Rick Wakeman – ARW – have united and will be embarking on a world tour starting in early October (October 4th in Orlando, Florida at Hard Rock Live) running through the spring of 2017. And now, it is time to announce who will be joining the trio for the 2016 tour:

Lee Pomeroy - bass guitar
Lee is an award winning composer and producer, as well as being an in demand session musician. As a professional bass player, Lee has recorded, toured, and performed with a diverse roster of high profile artistes, including Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Take That, Steve Hackett and Rick Wakeman. “I have played with arguably the 3 greatest bass players ever, Chris Squire, John Entwistle, and Lee Pomeroy!” says Rick Wakeman.” And I can’t wait to play with him again!”

Lee did great on the Genesis material on Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited tour. It'll be great to hear him play Yes music!

Louis Molino III - drums
Louis is originally from Philadelphia, and is a Los Angeles-based studio and touring drummer. Lou was an original member of Cock Robin, who released their debut album on Columbia Records. He has worked with producers Bob Ezrin, Eddie Offord, Paul De Villiers, Trevor Horn, Steve Hillage and Ken Scott. He has recorded and/or toured with Trevor Rabin, Julian Lennon, Kim Mitchell, Kenny Loggins, Roger Hodgson, and The Tubes. Lou’s work can be heard on such films as Con Air, Tarzan, Armageddon, Training Day, Jack Frost, Glory Road, Bad Boys II, Gone in Sixty Seconds, G-Force and Max. His television credits include Zero Hour, Agent X and 12 Monkeys.

Gary Cambra - Guitar & Keyboards
For 20 years, Gary has been the keyboardist, guitarist, and producer for one of rock music’s most notorious acts, The Tubes. He has also toured and been a session musician for notable acts, such as Stephen Bishop and Jefferson Starship, and produced and helped in the development of many acts in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas. Gary has composed for film and TV on projects such as, Roseanne Barr’ Saturday Night Special on the FOX Network, The Playboy Channel, and films such as, The Blob (Paramount), Under The Gun, and The Peace Effort (PBS).

The Portland date at the bottom wasn't there when they initially announced the tour last month. Hopefully, there'll be a Seattle and/or Vancouver date added for a day or two later, especially since these two are larger markets than Portland for Yes and most artists...

The last time JA was going to tour with Yes, he wanted to call the tour "Close To The End"

... And Back!

I had some great tickets when they had to cancel because of Jon's respiratory failure. I remember RW not being able to travel, so YES hired Oliver Wakeman.

I had tickets too, a small venue, I was totally stoked. I got a little bummed out though when the reality about pre-sales set in. I did not have the sale option. I bought tix as soon as I could. Later, for some reason I went and and checked. Some of the tix that were set aside for pre-sale had not sold, and were now on sale.....so I could have gotten better seats by waiting.....WTF......of course, the real bummer came after that.

All About Anderson, Rabin & Wakeman

05:01 PM Thursday 8/18/16

Excerpt from the very lengthy article above in the link...

Do you see this as a one album/one tour project or will Anderson, Rabin & Wakeman continue?

Rabin: I think the intention is to keep going. Personally speaking … when I got into film I didn’t want to play another Yes song for a little while after, I dunno, 1,000 shows. So I just, I guess, naively got into film and was lucky enough to have a great client very early on in Jerry Bruckheimer. … I thought I’d do a film or two and then get back on the road. 15 movies later, I’m now getting back on the road. So who knows what the future will bring? There are so many things we want to explore. I think it’s going to be longer than six months.

That's what I needed to hear! :D

My home town is stop #1 on the tour, certainly my intention to check it out.

I saw my first Yes show in '77

That FY website is great and has been around for as long as I can remember.

78 & 79 were In The Round. For one of the two shows in 79 I had 4th row. I was into photography at the time and got some great pics. B&W, because I developed them myself. I'll see if I can get them up here.

Nice, guys.

Doug, was the 72 gig already with White? Anyone seen Yes with Bruford?

Of course the Talk tour gig fiasco in Rio was 1994, not 1995 as I stated above...
