Thanks Trendmonger. Sounds great!!!
As I have said for years ZPZ sounds as good as any touring FZ ensemble.
This arrangement reminds me of FZs 1979 through 1988 bands thrown in a blender.
The dynamics are just so vivid performed and engineered above and beyond FZs demanding standards.
In the opening section the vocals have the clarity and soul on par with anything I have ever heard,
by any vocalist in the history of live music.
All those old blues singers are under neath the lawn lawn lawn and Ray just keeps raising the bar.
The orchestration of the horns is off the hook. The rhythm section is pronounced with
the fine remnants of Vinnisms along with Jamie Kimie 's superb rendition of the Denny Walley aluminum finger.
As the guitar solo begins layers of octave divider are ever clear.
This is only one small glimpse of DZs rig and performance capabilities.
Oh I'll just stop for people gotta use their own ears on this,
including the rest of this arrangement that I have not talked of for it is that good..................
Given DZs
tenacity for achieving engineering nirvana,
yes it's a quality and or state of being,
I expect my Halloween show to be produced along the lines of
where the ZPZ Halloween Download will definitively be a show
I will listen to as much as any other in the Zappa catalog.
