Why did my eyes just well-up with tears, listening to Ruth talk about "How Could I Be Such A Fool"?

Honest Abe , no floor covering necessary here.
This documentary breathes the life force that spans traditional dimensions as we know it.
The concept of the Universe having 10 Dimensions seems fitting.
Pure and Easy, Frank Zappa is the center of that Universe.
Pure and Easy the constellations are made up
as heard through the loving participants in this documentary.
Eternally we all share a spot on that fat floating fat.

I have a hand-held digital recorder that records on mp3 or wav,
I line it in through the headphone jack/or line-out on computer and presto.
These gadgets are getting cheaper, bought mine about 3 years ago,
it's a Roland Edirol. I have seen bargain brands of digital dictation-type
recorders that would suit.
I don't know of any software that would just save the stream.
I've captured a few shows that CBC puts on-line, mostly Canadian
artists.

There is software that will capture the stream, but the ones I tried never did well with audio and were marginal with video. Of course, I haven't tried them all, but the ones I did try sucked.

Easiest way is like physeddy said. I used to have an mp3 player, I think it was made by Samsung, that had a line in jack and would record the input as an mp3 file, perfect for something like this. I wish I had it now, because I would love to have mp3 copies of this excellent documentary.

Much appreciated, thanks! Were those files on their web site? I must've missed them if they were.

This is a great documentary, and I'm looking forward to part 3.
Especially Ruth Underwood is interesting to hear, with the specific musical information that she provides, and the way her playing examples are interspersed with recorded material. Amazing that she can still play all that.

It's also funny to hear the rather inarticulate Elliott Ingber talk about Freak Out, that it was a big surprise to him that Frank could compose and conduct that instrumental material.

I don't know what to really think of Arthur Barrow that seems to compare his bass line contributions to the work of J. S. Bach - and wishing part of the copyright for those.

One of the finest radio shows about FZ I have heard. To hear a monster musician like Elliot Ingber for his memories is just too much to bear. God bless the Canadians once again - they (CBC) were the first to Interview Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd in '66.

Did I hear right, a rehearsed song called 'Portuguese Moon landing'. FZ had a great facility with titles.

Has episode 3 been broadcast yet?

Great broadcast. It's really cool getting to hear the musicians speaking about all the technical stuff in Frank's music.

Echoing all the other praise of this documentary. Thanks Physeddy for bringing it to our attention.
