I read in a guitar magazine recently that Steve was going to be releasing a special edition of Flexable soon - 2 discs, lot of extras, etc. I haven't seen any mention of a release date on Steve's site or on amazon. Does anybody know anything more about this?

All kidding aside...todays new show (http://www.devinylcode.nps.nl) really kicks ass.... did you check out the flamenco ep?.... the hendrix lookalike... the real hendrix?....our guest Bas Springer???....

This Saturday, at 18.00 hrs, we launch the first special in our new show De Vinyl Code

It is all about the 25th anniversary of Steve Vai’s debut lp FLEX-ABLE…. And Mr. Vai is our special guest..here you see him holding our logo, based on the painting “ De Vinyl Code” (2009) by Bert Wouters.

codekloet: steve told me there will be a very special VINYL Flexable release this year to celebrate the show....180 grams.... of course our new show De Vinyl Code will cover that and world premiere it if Steve is cool, with that...
