It's a significant milestone. This beautiful performance was 18 years ago today. Methinks this was his last outing like this - with meaningful enterprise between his Brain and heart on the guitar. Click on the link today.

I don't know if his family had announced his illness - but I remember my old 1988 chum Harry Ottum ringing and telling me that he had Kerbs - so he must have been diagnosed by this time and rumours abound.

If any one knows where Harry Ottum is, then let me know. I liked the guy.

A bit late to mark the moment that inspired this topic, but better late than not appreceate it. I have to admit I get hung up on significant milestones and anniversaries - a minor complusion, but nothing too serious.

A remarkable performance on guitar from a man who knew he was dying.
