An update would be cool on this subject... I was I the first Montréal concert.
Did you happen to read the July 8 ZPZ Blog that I have been reiterating time ad time again recently?
Just in case here is a link containing an update.
http://www.zappaplayszappa.com/tourlog/ ... th=7&day=8Trendy - The point is that update is now approximately 70 days old. Stale, curdled, dusty, dead.
The poster wants something fresh and new. An UPdate.
Your view here is ever so much pootage soup
of a hand held adolescent ideology.
Take a close look at DZs commentary.
Just what part of DZs studio schedule was not clear?"I do have a planned open schedule for a while in the fall and the early part of 2010..........." To me it is all very clear. I see no reason whatsoever to bathe in negativity or feel the information is not fresh
and relevant to the project moving forward. For me everything DZ is about is a rewarding experience.
Some make a decision to share in that and some bathe in any given negativity that comes by.
Read it again in the full context all below.
ProgAtion is over, he has studio time scheduled to work on many exciting things.
I as some who have spoken to Dweezil on his recent tour may very well know what a few of the unexpected exciting new things are about.
May I suggest all that are in need of some coddling to dilate their mind to the basic statement that now
and has ever since it was made clearly shows NOW is a phase where Dweezil Zappa is working on several projects
and one of those projects is finishing up the YCFOSA MIXes.
It's all here again for you to ponder.
http://www.zappaplayszappa.com/tourlog/ ... th=7&day=8In closing I would like to say that there are many exciting things in the works. The question as usual is how to get it done in a timely manner since I do not have a staff of dozens of employees and expediters. I do have a planned open schedule for a while in the fall and the early part of 2010 so that should help.
After the Prog Nation Dream Theater tour I will be spending a lot of time in the studio finishing up download mixes, CD mixes and DVD editing. I plan to write and record some of my own new music soon as well. Yes, I have even been discussing spending some serious time on the Original FZ Roxy Footage.
Frank's music continues to be a great source of inspiration and it is a very rewarding experience to perform it and share it with all of you. We look forward to seeing all of you out there on the road helping to spread the word.
Regards, DZ
