Hey everyone,

I don't mean to be maudlin, and I'm not fishing for sympathy.
The avatar to the left is a photo of my son Jim when he was about
six years old. Today is Jim's birthday. He'd have been 28 today.

Three days before Christmas 1999, my wife and I came home from
work to find that our son had died. Unbeknownst to us, he had a
bit of enlarged heart. He was in his bedroom practicing guitar and
got a shock from the amp/house wiring which turned him OFF.
He likely was "dead" before he hit the floor.

He practiced drums and guitar every day, compulsively.

Needless to say, this is a tough day. It feels like he died 6 months ago.

Here's another photo.Image

Just know that your strength has carried you so far, it will continue to bring you through, and your family needs you to remain strong. I have never lost a child so I will not claim to know how you feel, but I doubt the pain ever lessens.

God bless you.

May your son Jim's footprints shadow your walk of life.

His vibes are still travelling the cosmos and one day you will reunite again... That is my belief... In Memory of Jim...

My heart is still broken over a dog I lost years ago....Can't imagine loosing a son. I never had any children (Just my dogs)..Our time on Earth is short..Be thankful for the time you had together. I hope we all can be with the one's we loved and lost someday....

Thank you.

Sometimes the worst thing happens.
I pray it does not happen to you.
