I'm leaving for LA for the first time tomorrow (from Norway), and someone told me there was a record store close to Studio city that sold everything Zappa. Does this store still exist? Due to the shipping costs and the taxes to Norway, I've not bought neither MOFO (4 disc) nor Lumpy Money, so I thought this would be an excellent opportunity if I can buy them in a store.

If you get a chance, go to Amoeba Records in Hollywood -- amazing record store.

They probably won't have Lumpy Money or the 4-disc MOFO (unless they have used copies), but they will have plenty of other Zappa discs as well as most anything else you can think of.

Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure to check out that store! I guess there is no way around ordering Mofo and Lumpy Money online then.
