It seems that Gands still have some copies, and Them or Us

I never realized there were so many Frank books. Has anybody read all of them? How are they?

Sarah Palin read any and all of them, whatever ones were put in front of her, you betcha.

It's too bad and obvious that you don't have a girlfriend. Only a person who never gets any starts multiple accounts on an internet forum. Pathetic. What a pathetic douchebag you are.

Now looking like April 2011. Thanks as ever to all those showing an interest in my humble little tome.

Published today is the paperback version of my book, Zappa The Hard Way, documenting Frank’s fateful final tour of 1988.

Featuring new interviews with the surviving band members, a Foreword by Frank’s sister Candy, and an Afterword by his former secretary Pauline Butcher (who interviewed Frank during the tour) - this is a must-read not only for Zappa fans but for anyone with an interest in playground psychology.

The book can be purchased from:
Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Zappa-Hard-Way-Andrew-Greenaway/dp/1908724005/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1321637171&sr=8-3
Barnes & Noble: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/zappa-the-hard-way-andrew-greenaway/1107168814?ean=9781908724007&itm=1&usri=zappa+the+hard+way
Wymer: http://www.wymeruk.co.uk/Store/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=1366

I thank you.

Years ago I bought No Commercial Potential by David Walley. I enjoyed that one. But since it was written in 1972 it only covers part of Frank's career. I received Dangerous Kitchen by Kevin Courrier as a gift a few years ago. I have read about half of it so far. It's a tough read because the author practically worships Zappa. He wants the reader to think that he alone understands Zappa's music and what was behind every lyric Frank ever wrote. The book gets tiresome pretty fast. I read another chapter now and again. I'm sure I'll finish it some day.

Got the paperback a week ago from Amazon. Love it. Nice job. Overall I felt bad for Scott after reading. Wackerman seems like the biggest dick on the tour. It's one thing to hate the guy, but to have his bass turned down in his monitor is not very professional.
That '88 tour was a year before I started going to concerts, I was only 14 then. Had I been a few years older, would have been at Buffalo and/or Rochester. Really hope ZFT releases that Madrid show on DVD someday soon.

so far, after 2 chapters, it's a must-read, well written in a very engaging & impartial style, lots of previosly unpublished info, stories & facts; cool photos & scans including a scan of my ticket stub from the vermont show, plus quite a few scans from diplo-deepi & dd
