I collect Zappa vinyl, as some of you already know.
I have been collecting Zappa vinyl for about 7 years now. Some time ago I bought a collection of 50+ Zappa/Related 45's. I started getting more and more and more and... Well The collection of singles is now more that 150 7"s and about 20 maxi. I started scanning the labels and covers, so that I didn't have to get the singles out everytime I wanted to check something. Then I started to think that it could be a good idea to put this out on the web, and make a online database where collectors could contribute.
This is now the real deal! I have been working with this webpage for more than a year now, and it is finaly ready for the public!
It is my first webpage, so everything is not perfect, but I think the end result got very good.
Right now it is only my own singles, but I hope to get more images and information from the Zappa freaks around the world.

Happy Frank Zappa day everyone :D

Yes, a good idea.

There is a similar site for other great stuff:

www.45cat.com

It's basically UK stuff.

Hi folks!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

HJ wrote:
I would have phrased it differently, but I tend to agree. Zappa was not a "leftie" on guitar. :D

I will do something about this.

Very nice to hear tweezers :D ZappaFrenzy is the kind of webpage I wished existed when I started collecting. This is one of the things that inspired me to make the site.

I could of sworn on Vally Girl, there was a line that went "open wide, fer sure, fer sure" but I couln't find it on the lyrics to your single Valley Girl. :?:

Excellent site, Knepo! I wish someone could do something like this for the LPs as well, with good scans of all the labels and artwork. Any plans?

I will soon start to add all matrix information to all the singles.

I am not quite sure how this information should be displayed. There are a few options i am considering.

1: The matrix information is displayed under/above the labels
2: put it in the erea where the comments are (more space to comment the matrix information)
3: to have it att the bottom of a single site, so that all matrix information of a certain single is together (for easy comparing)
4: Or maby someone have an even better idea.

I want to make the site as userfriendly as possible, so I ask you folks here what you would prefere.
