I will soon start to add all matrix information to all the singles.

I am not quite sure how this information should be displayed. There are a few options i am considering.

1: The matrix information is displayed under/above the labels
2: put it in the erea where the comments are (more space to comment the matrix information)
3: to have it att the bottom of a single site, so that all matrix information of a certain single is together (for easy comparing)
4: Or maby someone have an even better idea.

I want to make the site as userfriendly as possible, so I ask you folks here what you would prefere.

Regarding the matrix numbers, I wrote this : http://wiki.killuglyradio.com/wiki/Matrix_Numbers
I have to say that on vinyl records, the matrix numbers are sometimes uneasy to represent as they are usually handwritten using fancy characters that are hard to differenciate such as colons, commas, dashes, slashes, dots, etc.
These stuff are sometimes undistinguishable from others marks or scratches and separated by a lot of space so you can easily miss them.
And there are also very often letters upside down or parts that are stricken through.
Extra litterature on that topic would be useful.

Excellent site, Knepo! I wish someone could do something like this for the LPs as well, with good scans of all the labels and artwork. Any plans?

it already exists...........

That's cool, but I think Knepo's site looks better and has more visual information, so I hope he goes on with the plans for the LPs.

I know Matrix numbers are not always easy to write, and I have given this a lot of thought. I will start my misson and see where it ends. Here is a little example on how i did it for the 4 different US "Dancin' Fool/Baby Snakes" single: http://www.zappafrenzy.com/singles/1979 ... nakes.html (scroll down to the comments)
Those singles had quite easy matrix numbers.
Matrix Numbers will not be presented that way in general. It is just for comparing the different Pressings.

Here is the matrix for one of the US "Big Leg Emma" single, the triangle was quite easy to make

My site had a tiny update yesterday: Links have been added and Zurkon Wax sendt me label images of one single.

I have now made a little matrix information sample. Matrix information added to "How Could I Be Such A Fool?/Help Im A Rock"

What do you think?

nice work, knepo; very user friendly, great to see high quality scans and the sort options are helpful

suggestion: add master list of all the known singles as a way to identify a 'want list' of stuff you don't have

will check my archives for any possible additions
