Hello everyone,
I've been on the mailing list for years, but never got around
to registering on the forum, until now. Zappa Day gave me a recharge I guess.
Anyway, yeah, made the trip down 95 from Philly on Sunday and sooooooo glad I did.
It was a great day with a real mellow vibe and a coolness factor of......10 !!!
Got to meet and talk with all the Zappa kids and they all signed my poster.
Also had that wacky Lithuanian dude who donated the statue sign it.
The quote of the day goes to Diva Zappa, who upon stepping up to the mic
during the unveiling ceremony, began weeping, as she said:
"Thank you all, For Loving My Dad."
There wasn't a dry eye in the house after that one.
The Dwez once again honored the legacy well, he just gets better & better
every time I see him. Ya gotta love that kid.
So then, this is my "Activation" post, hope to stop back often and share some
"Frank" discussions with you all.

Keep Rockin,
gusjudge

I have a set of fantastic photos of Zappa Plays Zappa at the dedication of the Frank Zappa statue in Baltimore, on Sept. 19, 2010. The set is on my Flickr dot com pages. On here is a link to where you can find the Zappa Plays Zappa photo set. I have tons of audience photos, band photos, and statue photos.

Enjoy.

The photo labeled "T Z Nice Babe" is our very own Debutante Daisy. And she is both of those things, too!

Doesn't look like Jimmy D to me, although it probably is. It actually looks more like Noomies to me.

Pretty sure that isn't Jimmy D. Doesn't look much like other pictures I've seen of him. Obviously Deb Daisy could clear this up.

that does look like Noomies and if that's Gary in the orange shirt, he's definitely gone grey. Shocker! :!:
