..or is it next Friday y'all see your main doc? Did the surgeon offer or have any useful advice?

Ohhhh man, Mrs P is at the merci of the medical magicians, you've got some of the best in the business in the US of A. You have to keep the faith Plook, these guys can do amazing things with the modern medical techniques of today...I wish I could give you guys a giant kiwi type hug, but you'll just have to settle for a digital hug at this stage (digital hug mmm sounds fuckin' creepy) Anyway hold on tight, you have got to believe the Doc's will get Mrs P sorted out, and you'll both be on holiday before you know it.....somewhere exotic like poughkeepsie....

As far as I understand it, the colon problem is the result of the chemo - or am I wrong?
Unfortunately, these seem to be about par for the course, though it doesn't make them anymore pleasant. Basically, anything that is really nice to eat seems to become a question mark after chemo. In any case you know we're rooting for you both here.

They attribute it to the "decotron" (spelling?) a steroid that relieves the swelling around the brain tumors so her motor functions are not inhibited and her thought process is less affected.

This woman is surviving from home project to home project, it is like some defense system has kicked-in in her brain, as long as she has a non-completed project she will have to survive. One projects done another one is already started, it's sad but genius at the same time, I'm getting wore out but is long as it’s working for her its working for me.

She definitely is having mental issues, it is subtle to most, but I know my wife. This hybrid person has taken over her mind, my wife comes through regularly like seeing a familiar shore through a fog, occasionally glimpsed but never clear enough to make land.

This new person is relentless and designing nearly 24 hours a day. Hopefully the HGTV Gal who inhabits her body knows what she is doing, it seems like it so far, and we’re getting a new house out of it.

I think I will trust the Home Improvement Girl to bring my wife back to me...

Interesting. It's unfortunate to hear that she will need another surgery for her colon but in the big picture, it can always be worse (although certainly frustrating). It's great to hear that she is keeping busy though and I like that idea of having to stick around because there are still projects at hand. Reminds me of Uncle Frank!

Keep on keepin' on brutha!

Your lucky MS. Plook wasn't really MS. Winchester in a past life. Think what your house would look like then!

Watch out for the beginning of thirteen steps to anywhere! That's the first sign of serious Winchesterism setting in. And it leads to trigger finger too!
