I was thinkin' of stopping by on the way to Chico, Monday. I'd better rethink that and just put it off until this is over for now, me thinks. See you in Chico then? It doesn't sound like Mrs. Plook would like a surprise visit from anyone. My heart goes out to you guys. Pedro's card left out one thing cancer can't beat and that would be The Plooks. United y'all stand and nothing can tear you guys apart! Give the Mrs. my best. I'm so sorry it's such a bummer on her,..poor thing! :(

That was a very nice card and sentiment Pedro 2. 8)

We're all in for the plooks and I hope they don't mind the daily karma messaging from the forum.

I hope the Mrs is receiving them clear enough.

That is not a bad idea Kapt by Monday she could be feeling great...

while there has never been any incidents while anyone has visited, we get less and less people coming by, its like we have the plague...

I know some people don't know how to deal with this, but some people my wife helped a lot through great loss's stopped giving her support... :?

Yes its not required, but dam, she went the extra mile for some of these people. Always generous to a fault she is...hell just 3 weeks ago she was helping someone with the loss of a parent... :!:

I will call you later Kapt, it would be nice if you came by, thanks!

As always it would be my pleasure, I just didn't want to intrude if the Mrs. was feeling poorly. I'll talk to you Sunday afternoon/evening, either way, about Chico and Monday.
I hope she's feeling much better by then, it would be a gas to see The Plook's women folk again! 8) :)

Hey Plook. I'm probably one of those people that don't know how to deal with this stuff but if you ever need anything let me know.

Sounds like you could use a double dose of the Kapt's medicine

I will be praying for you, The Plooks. Really hope she gets better soon. If I could, I would pay a visit. Maybe someday. Let her know she has supporters and people cheering from the other half of the world. All the best.

Only one chemo to go, Plook? The last ones are always the worst, but then it's over and cured, we all hope. All the best to you and your missus.

Especially jpd. He likes to stir up trouble! (the little stinker! )

Well well well...what a great show! The band was tight, not perfect by any stretch but very very good. Vocals were phenomenal, Ray White is such an excellent singer, Bobby Martin was great also, and Ike is legendary. The kid in the cover band is a well practiced and technically accurate FZ guitar player, Ike also took on that heavy lifting also.

Had a great time with KUIII, Kapt Kiirk, Happy, Nic, and Ed...we also hung with three other guys, everyone was totally into in…We had a couple of drinks and several beers, while I did not get plastered, but I am not used to drinking, to much beer…it was at a brewery…lol…

They played several selections from Joe's Garage and some other stuff sprinkled throughout. The Venue has no bad seats we sat center (2 tables) and up on the rise so we could see over the crowd.

I am giving it 9 out of 10 Plooks, but I had a 10 Plook time, for sure.

The best I can remember and not necessarily in order the set was (may be missing 1 or 2):

Sharleena
Zoot Allures
City Of Tiny Lites (RW)
Doreen
Catholic Girls
Crew Slut
You Are What You Is
Zomby Woof
Carolina Hard-core Ecstasy
Andy
Sofa No. 2
Fembot in A Wet T-Shirt Nite
Why Does It Hurt When I Pee
Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up
Outside Now
More Trouble Every Day
Whipping Post (RM)
Watermelon In Easter Hay (IW)

Sounds like it was a fun time and you got to relieve some stress from what's been happening to you lately.

You deserve a night with special friends and great music !

Hope the major Plookette will get one soon , too.

Yes I was talking to Ray White after the show and mentioned my wife, he said "You hold on right here" he got his guitar tuner and wrote a note to my wife on the back "___ get well, we love you...Ray White"...he said he would call his wife of 42 years immediately and have her put my wife on the prayer chain at her church, what a good guy...my wife thought it was a wonderful and special thing...:)
