We're kicking it, we ordered in as Kap suggested...it has cleared it and is awesome out, but very chilly with the breeze, sailboats abound... :smoke:

Sounds nice - enjoy! Weather got awfully stuffy/sticky over here. Funny that for once, I've got the upper end of the temp....

PS - New Zappacast was released today where I'm in the roundtable. This time we're chronicling Bongo Fury. Sounds like I'm part of the group now and no longer just a "visitor"

Mansion - ha, not quite.... but yes, 1 individual in a 4-bedroom house way out in the sticks doesn't make much sense. On a Tuesday night, I'd be hitting Applebee's to check out the local hot action? Yeaaaaaah, back to the city it is!

Best of luck bro', on your new exciting life near or in the big city. Make your place the go to place for your friends and musicians and after hours jammin' mon! I can dig it, just make sure your neighbors don't have kids that "have to get up" or hate rock & roll. They'll drive you to doing nothing.(a fate worse than death) Believe me they will too!
Unless your playing a gig in the sticks, your better off jammin' with people everyday that can't afford to live out of town and commute. The city folks can play and it's a green thing too. A smart move my cybor ZappaFreak friend, imho.
More people around you = more people at gigs and more $$'s! So go with the flow and have a good time doing it too! Surround yourself in your own sound with others adding to it. You'll love it, it's a way of life. Trust me!
Also you might start thinking basement or soundproof rooms. You know the trip. Now dig it! 8) :D 8)

Very insightful Kiirk, I'm actually looking into many of those very same realities! Yes, I've had my own studio setup in my last 3 places and would definitely be re-locating it along with me! Looking for the "right place" as someone who's trying to rehearse/record live bands and play piano all the time limits the scope indeed... I'm actually a web dev by day so my music is more something that costs $ than makes $, but I hear ya!

Haha - niiiiiice! I'd prefer to find one with no kids but wants to make some down the line but I'm open...

5 showings in the 1st 2 days - nice! We'll see how it keeps up - slated for another showing tomorrow. I setup my "scenario" with a Chicago realtor and we'll see what comes up.

Hope all's well with Mrs. Plook, Plook!
