Mrs.Plook is doing better but still needs assistance, the Daughter Plook the Younger who got here teaching credentials starts with her first full time class today, she is a third grade teacher. One of the girls that lived with us for some time will be staying with Mrs.Plook until Wednesday before she flies home to Arkansas, the Daughter Plook the Elder left for our house this morning and will spend a week there.

I have a meeting with AT&T in Santa Ana today and head to Oxnard tomorrow returning to Plook Headquarters Wednesday... :)

Thank you all for your kind words and your offers of assistance... :!:

All the best to you man, and the missus.
You don't know me but me and my missus are both (ex) nurses, so if there's anything that occurs to you that you need an angle on, we might be able to shed a bit of light.
Positive thoughts your way anyhow.

Plook , man what can I say ?

Listen , I know a guy here in Nohio can't really pop over with a home cooked meal , or do some shopping for you guys , but you two need some relief. Even for just a stress free weekend. I'm being very serious now . Do you have a Pay Pal account or anything that a guy like me could contribute to ? I'd love to kick in so that you two could go have a serious no hassle time .

I only really know you from this forum , but you seem like too decent a guy to have all this shit kicking both your asses. I think you would probably do the same for anyone else in your life or even anybody on here. Zappa freakdom is kinda like a brotherhood and brothers should come together for their own.

Think about it and let me know.

 8)

Thanxs pedro2, so far my job and my socialist insurance has kept us out of the poor house, but thank you for the offer... :!:

Mrs.Plook went to the specialist and for some reason he is out of network...although he will not be treating her she and the Daughter Plook the Elder were able to consult with him for a time.

Apparently the equipment used for this treatment is not available locally in my area, he was able to recommend two other neurologist and they are in the Sacramento area. We are trying to determine whom can treat her, this is actually the first time our insurance has ever limited our selection, I'm not so sure we could not file for out of network treatment and get approval...

To expedite we are now just moving forward, it seems our trip for Morro for our 31st anniversary at the end of the month is off... :(

Well I completed my site reviews today and drive home tomorrow, I will be able to give Mr.Plook a big hug... :)

Dr. Praveen Prasad is the best Neurologist in Sac.. He's the only one I'd let touch my back & spinal cord. His motto is, first do no harm. I think he's affiliated with Sutter Health care, you should check him out.
I'll be up that way (Oroville) on Wed.night/Thurs., coming back Thurs. afternoon. I'd be glad to do the shopping/cleaning, yard work anything to help out. I'm not busy on most weekends now either, so all you have to do is call if you guys need a break or just want some positive energy around, I'm here for y'all bro'.
Give your better half my best! She's got friends she didn't even know she had!

Your a classy guy Pedro! 8)

EDIT: I found his card, it's: Praveen Prasad at,

Cobb, French and Prasad
Neurosurgical Associates, Inc.
2801 K ST. Suite 300
Sac, CA.
95816

916) 733-5028

Hope this helps.

Your insurance won't cover seeing him or his associates? :? I called to make an appointment for meself a few months back and he seems to be leaning toward retiring. I don't know if he's treating or just consulting now. They haven't called me back for that consultation either. :|

EDIT: Are you home yet?

What the hell are you going to Oroville for? Just curious. FYI - I read an old Jimmy Carl Black interview recently where he said Billy Mundi lived in (Lake) Oroville. It just goes to show that there is an old Mother just about everywhere.

' Well , we all need someone we can lean on '

I wouldn't have made that offer if I wasn't serious and I wouldn't have posted it on a public forum if I didn't think there weren't other like minded people here as well .

Plook , I can sense that you're a pretty prideful man , and , like most of us here , wouldn't ask for anything , BUT , how about setting up a post office box or something so I could at least send a card to Mrs. Plook ?

EDIT: I hope Plook will still go to one of the DZpZ Feb. N. CA. shows. I'll split the room per usual of course. Plook and I had a good time at and after the last Crest show. Uncle Meat (Jeff) and his son will be there too and I think KUIII will be there also. I've got tix for this Crest show. Always a fun venue for DZpZ, but so is Chico!
I need a miracle everyday.

I sure hope the Plooker gets to go with you Kapt.

Hey, does Chico State U still have that annual party where they try to consume 1% of all the alcohol produced in the US for that year?
