 ....even think I'll go to prayin'. They've had to open me up a week after back surgery because it wasn't healing right and stood a chance of infection. They won't hesitate to go back in if they think there's any chance of infection. I hope it's minor, even though that still hurts like the OP did. Poor Mrs. Plook!
Really hoping for the best Plook.

What happened was evrything was going fine she had her bags packed and they did a final examination and found the Ostomy had reseeded overnight, they went in and reset it, they found her incision was not healing correctly and reworked it...if she had came home like that it could have went poorly.

She had the High resolution MRI on Wednesday and although it needs to be sent to the Neurologist to be read, but her Oncologist and Surgeon have both examined it and say no new growth on all 3 and they both believe 2 have srunk, this is a very very good thing.

Have to get on a conferance call talk to you all later, and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers... :!:

I'm glad they caught that before she went home. Sounds like they're on top of everything with Mrs.Plook, which is a good thing, but I wish she could catch a break and just get better!
Hang in there Plook, we're all hopin' for the best for Mrs. Plook! :)

Mrs.Plook is in a bad way, but fighting hard! Re-opening a 12 inch long abdomin incision that had been healing for over a week has to hurt. I know she is tougher than me...breast cancer and surgery, blood clot surgery, brain tumors and Gamma Knife surgery, and two colon surgerys in 15 months...and redecorating the whole way, she's one bad ass woman... :!:

Poor Mrs. Plook! Damn man!
I know she can tough this one out too with all the Plooks support. I had three OP's in a year and 1/2...hated it! She's gotta be like a super woman decorating, rearranging, remodeling, besides having all these OP's.
I hope she's eating again, it really helps your strength. If she feels weak ask them if she can have those protein drinks, they helped me feel stronger. Keep us posted and give her all our best. (I think I can speak for most of us)

Mrs.Plook is resting well, they have taken her off the Decotron (spelling?) that was for her Brain Tumors due to it being a possible cause of the failure of the first precedure, it works against the healing process. I will keep you all psoted as I can, thank you all for the vibes and good wishes... :!:

Do not go gently into that goodnight, rage, rage, against the light.~ TS Elliot. I don't think I butchered it too bad, I always took comfort in his prose and hope Mrs. Plook can get that kinda' fight back too! It's the eve of ST. Paddy's Day, is she Irish by chance? Can Izzie draw her a shamrock? That's the kinda things I'd like to see if I was her. Might give her a lift ya know.
I'm sending everything positive and good plus the kitchen sink to you guys and hate the fact I can't do more!!! I know it must be driving you batty too...
