Sorry you didn't make it to Roswell - you could have given us the INSIDE STORY!

Well I worked all day in my room and late in the day I received an E-mail update from the Innovation Team (this is where you submit ideas for implementation with in the company and receive monetary amounts based on the use of the idea) concerning first quarter results, the status of in progress ideas, and the newest submissions. My idea (which I spoke about some time ago) is still being analyzed by the IT Group for feasibility and cost of implementation.

When reading through the power point document attached to the E-mail I noticed a guy who was presenting an Idea when I pitched mine had submitted a new idea that was the same as mine but on steroids, I was pissed!

I sent an E-mail to the Director of the Innovation Idea steering committee. He not only immediately sent me an E-mailed response, he called, he claims that the board reviewed it and they recognized the similarity and that his version would be used in an old system and that mine was being deployed in the new system that will eventually replace all other systems when fully implemented.

I am still a little miffed, since his is directly based on my idea and he was on the call when I presented my idea, especially since his other idea was declined. There are people who constantly submit ideas due to the potential monetary bonus involved and I am not that smart so this is my one good idea everyone liked and I am a little concerned that someone is being allowed to submit an idea that is based on mine.

Headed out of Lubbock this morning and going to Dallas, my flight leaves in a couple hours. I stayed in all day yesterday except to eat and get some coffee & a smoke, wrote 10 reports, I just need to publish them this evening. I may go to the show when I get to Plano, I would like to see Prometheus. I will see you all on the other side...

You guys are just a hoot...saw the movie it was really cool I liked it and it makes you wonder where it fits in with the original Alien film, I have a theory.

I will have to see if I can find JR's old folks home for you guys, I'm sure Sue Ellen has a daughter...

But this morning I will be headed to the Corporate Villiage and meeting with some big wheels... :smoke:

Meet the big boys and did just fine, they took me over to our support groups office and they were all calling me the "legend" and they were glad to see I actually existed, apparently my reputation proceeded me. I'm feeling pretty good right now had a couple glass's of wine with dinner and I may write reports with a smile o my face for a change...

Well I'm at the Hotel near the airport which means I get to go home tomorrow morning... :D ...had a good day got 4 more audits today for a grand total of 16 this trip, my division gets $750 per audit, my cost should be under $3,000.00 for the trip so i believe I'm earning my keep since we are not supposed to be making a profit of auditing...lol.. :smoke:

Is your browser Enternet Explorer? I haven't been able to post a link that doesn't go to Freeze.com for awhile. :? That and it was through DZW that I got spammed and all my Ymail contacts where all sent a weight lost plan.Including me! Just wondering if it's all connected? It all started around the same time I got spammed.Except the youtube/hulu etc.streaming.That seems to depend on the vidio. I've heard that Mozilla-Firefox streams music vids better too.Any ideas anyone? The answer is not in the FAQ's for Dummies series,my alma matter and frat house,Phi Zappa Krappa for Dummy-ups either. :?

BTW:When does Plook plan to start his next tour tomorrow?
