1 stone = 14 pounds = 6.35029 kilos

13.5 stone = 189 pounds = 85.729 kilos

I guarantee you if they had a display in the National Museum it would be Kapt. Kiirk walking like a caveman giving a peace sign while smoking a joint, never a dull moment with this cat. The good Kaptian is a bit of a perpetual motion machine (KU quote) and we also introduced him to Blasters (Yeager Bombs) that weekend, it was Kapt.Kiirk squared…lol…

We got back to the Cottage and there is a hot tub on the deck and off with the clothes in he goes, he was living out of the hot tub the rest of the weekend like Kramer in a Sienfield episode…so funny…

I passed out and heard tales of erectus wandering the grounds till the wee hours under the light of the mega full moon, which made two of those…

The next day we jammed about two days’ worth of shit into one day (that will be another story) we ended up at a bar drinking Micro-Brew beer and Fireballs. Kapt.Kiirk kicked KU’s ass on the shuffle board table and went on to beat me in a game of pool (and I’m a good shot!)…he is amazing!... :o

We end up back at the room and there was some talk of going out but Nic, KU, and I were cooked and decided to have a few drinks and stay in (The sunset there is worth it, spectacular comes to mind)...

While the Kapt. In his Blaster blast off mode was totally not wanting to hear that, the facility has bikes for the tenants to check out and he wanted me to get him a bike and I was saying theey put them up at night, but he made me call, same answer…. :P

He wasn’t taking no for an answer he wants to give them a $100 deposit to keep it over night and I said no way, he starts scurrying around the grounds looking for the bikes, I’m freaking out trying to rein him in…which I did not think was possible…but somehow I got him to follow some bread crumbs back down to the cottage… Oy vey… :smoke:

So back to the room off with the clothes and back in the hot tub, I crashed out early but I heard the night consisted of many trips into the hot tub and a naked adventure down on the beach…the Kapt. Makes it interesting… 8)

The Kaptain definitely keeps things interesting. Thanks again Plook for facilitating this adventure. I joke about your driving but I feel safe with you at the wheel. Thanks for the Art Gallery stop too. I like to think the cute girl in the shop was flirting with me a bit but that's probably just my ego running away with me. Anyway, it's nice to be out and enjoying life again. Thanks! 8)

Your jumping ahead there, I was saving that for the next story...now you have to wait for my opinion...LOL...

I'm pretty sure they double comped the room...Grey Ghost had called to try to pay for the room, thank you so much for that Grey! They told him it was already comped, while I had my certificate and I thought they meant they were using that...when they gave back the cert it had not been used at all… :?

They staff and management there really were heartbroken to hear about Terri, they had some special thing planned for when she came down after she was released from the hospital… :(

Fun fact(s): I would enjoy discussing skateboarding with Plook.
I feel that it could prove to be an enlightening experience all around.

You know what, KUIII... I think I will.
And I've got an idea for another thread I would like to create as well.
Oh also, I will stop doing that thing in those other 2 threads.

It was fun and all, but I am flexible.

Cool. It's nice to know you can take a hint. Maybe there's hope for you after all. 8)

Btw, the stringing the song titles together is not a bad or unfun idea, you just have to realize when something isn't working and move on to something else - unless you're intentionally trying to be annoying (and there are people like that, believe it or not).

I hope this works out. As Zappa fans, are we not all free thinkers? We get enough shit from mainstream society, because we don't fit in. We don't need infighting amongst ourselves. Just my opinion. Peace to all my fellow Zappa freaks. :smoke:

I used to think Zappa fans were more intelligent than the average music fan. That was before I started reading this forum.

I'm just trying to give Mr. Maps some helpful hints. Of course he is free to post anything he wants and I am free to reply as I see fit. In Mr. Maps case, it was either try to give him a little advice or ignore him completely like what is happening on the secret word threads. I'm just trying to teach him some table manners so he can sit comfortably at the adult table.

Btw, I have always resented the idea that you have to be some kind of freak to appreciate Zappa. I like being part of society. FZ has been my favorite form of entertainment since I was 15. That's almost 38 years. As a byproduct of the great music, humor, and social commentary I have been exposed to some great creative and critical thinking that I may not have found elsewhere. I use that influence in my everyday life (and honestly, I live a pretty mainstream life - at least on the surface). Nobody gives me shit because I like FZ. Frankly, most people don't care.

I appreciate you trying to be a peacemaker, Philo. You are a good man but there is no battle going on here. Peace, Philo. Peace, Mr. Maps. And peace to all the Zappa freaks and non-freaks everywhere!

Don't forget the brutal exploitation of the poor. And sick.

Oh, and btw, food and shelter existed before society. And all that other material stuff you mention is real hard to find without money. Most people are working like slaves to get it. Zappa recognized this fact.

The closer you live to street level the more lessons you have thrust upon you.

But I don't wanna fuck up Plook's thread.
