In a nut shell I get to continue to make my own schedule therefore controlling where I go and what I do, starting with getting to go to Chicago and see PIB's band in late September. I feel really bad for the other Auditors who will get bounced all over the country at a moments notice for the next 4 months, which is going to suck!

Also my productivity made me the obvious choice to stay with my normal process, sometimes busting your ass and being efficient pays off, it did this time...

Awesome to hear that your hard work paid off! Sometimes it takes a helluva long time to actually see the pay-off! I'll have to make sure the show is even better now...

Haha - while we are still fine-tuning what the setlist will be, Utopia songs will most likely not make the cut.

But we'll certainly be playing a tune or 2 from another artist you love!

I'll have to give that one another listen. My faves off that were "Magic Dragon Theatre" and "Singring" but "Singring" would be an awfully ambitious feat (and time-eater)!

"The Elders" sounds like something out of H.P. Lovecraft (as, indeed, does "the other side") - give her kiss from me, anyway.

Well my daughters husband and I rented surfboards Saturday, I now know for sure I am overweight and out of shape...I am so fat I could not get to my feet on the board, I was totally depressed. I still could paddle good, sit on the board, roll waves, and duck dive...but I could not get a ride.

Well we decided to go again this morning again and I could not accept the previous days results, I sucked it up (literally) and got my fat ass up and ended up catching 8 waves and was able to pull off some maneuvers, I was totally stoked. Now I am so burnt I look like a lobster, I am sore as shit in places I did not know I had muscles (or lack there of) and I am dog tired and need to go to bed.

Hang ten, hang five, hang loose!

Don't feel bad, Plook. I wouldn't have even attempted to surf at 20 let alone now. Skiing (water or snow), skateboarding, roller skating, ice skating, etc. were activities that were never in my DNA. I was good at team sports but that balancing shit was something I could never handle.

Hey I am really optimistic after that second session, if I lose some weight and build up my endurance a little I think I can make a run at it, I have all the knowledge and skill, I was what would be called an expert surfer, just need to restore the body and I could go.

Wise guy eh? So who caught the most waves Smokey?

Tie a fin on your back next time you paddle out. That way you have the waves all to yourself.
