Well I have been in So Cal since Monday, I am staying in Long Beach. While driving here Tuesday from Ontario I passed Claremont and debated stopping to pay respects to Ray, but I had to go to East LA and did not have time.

Mrs. Plook had her device for her chemo put in today, she faired well and is in good spirits. They decided to start her treatment next week so I will miss that and her second one also. We tried a calculated guess when I planned my trips and it just didn’t pan out. I’m suffering from some depression, but I don’t think its to bad.

I was in Santa Ana yesterday and Marina Del Rey today, tomorrow I will be going back to Ontario.

My boss is moving to Tech Support and they are promoting someone from within the department to Manager, the choice they made may work against me, but I will give it a chance.

They also are placing two new Quality Auditors in to two of my three geographical areas, I will be transitioning out of the North Central and Southwest areas, the transition will be gradual be should not take more than 3 or 4 months.

So if you want that free meal you better get hold of me next time I am in the area, PIB is going after his 3rd or 4th…lol…

I heard they're putting restrictions on jumping anyhow. You can jump with a permit but no blind leaping allowed!

I suppose that decision is left to the discrimination of their seeing-eye dog. I'll have to double-check the bi-laws.

That wasn't what I was thinking, but it works...we went and saw a band tonight (with the daughter Plook the elder and her husband) it was pretty awesome I told the band about PIB's music and they are going to check it out. Famous Last Words is the only CD besides FZ I brought with me...

I went the Daughter Plook the Elder and her husband to the Science Museum today to see the Space Shuttle Endeavor, it was awesome. They had movie about the moving of the Shuttle from LAX to the museum, that if available on line I would highly recommend watching.

They also had a nice display of Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo capsules…a space suite worn on the moon and a moon rock all on loan from the Smithsonian.

There were several other interesting displays, a solar car that goes up to 60mph.

Ate at the world famous Pantry in downtown afterwards, definitely not health food but off the hook good…

Had a good day with the Daughter Plook the Elder, her and her husband took me on a Dexter Tour, they shot most of the show in the Long Beach area.

We then watched the NFC and AFC Championship games, that went well since my daughters husband is a 49er fan and although I am a Raider fan I also am a fan of any team that plays the Cheatriots...lol..

We had a nice barbeque, the temp was a balmy 80 degrees here yesterday...well headed to Ontario, its a long drive, but shouldn't be to bad due to the holiday.

I'm trying to connect with Coevad, hopefully he has time.

Made it home Mrs.Plook is fairing well, they have her on a chocktial of meds and they are hitting her with everything they got, she had a shot today that got her good and tomorrows is supposed to knock her down..wow they are not playing.

Due to rain in LA this morning and accidents it took me just under 10 hours to get home, my record of 6 1/2 hours was safe... :smoke:
